On 5th of October Lynx Music (www.lynxmusic.pl) will release „MLWZ 15th Anniversary Compilation”. This 3CD album is distributed worldwide by: MLWZ , Lynx Music and Rock Serwis.
"Mały Leksykon Wielkich Zespołów" (MLWZ = "A Small Lexicon of Great Bands") is Radio Alfa Krakow 102,40 FM's progressive rock show in Poland which started in November 1994, is on air every Wednesday between 8:00 and 10:00 pm CET. The show host is Artur Chachlowski, who is also a well known Polish 'Metal Hammer' journalist.
For the listener's convenience, since 2001 there has been the official MLWZ.PL web site that accompanies the radio show. It comprises many reviews, news, links, playlists and in the AUDIO section one can download entire recently broadcast radio shows. Due to Artur's network of contacts in the Progressive Music scene, built up over years of continuous involvement, this web site is one of the most reliable sources of knowledge for fans of art rock in Poland.
For commemoration of its 15th anniversary, MLWZ will release a 3 CD compilation album featuring mostly never before heard, unreleased and unique tracks donated by the artists who have been co-operating with the radio show through the years. The album tracklist is as follows:
