Apparently these Finns have been releasing EP’s since 2007 but this is their debut album, and it is packed full of sleaze and Eighties panache. Imagine New York Dolls, Hanoi Rocks, Dogs D’Amour and The Quireboys (but with no piano) all mixed together and having a drunken party somewhere and you may be close to what these guys sound like. This is not rocket science, it is all about having a blast and letting everyone involved having a good time, and sometimes this is all you want from music. It’s almost like a dirty secret, you may not admit to liking this type of music but there are times when all you want to do is let your hair down and have a good time. And this album delivers that in spades.
Not exactly classy, but if all you need is beer and sweaty bodies then this is it.
