Clive Nolan: "I have spent a lot of time with ‘Alchemy’ rolling around my head. I had many months to visualise every scene… every detail. It was fun to start turning these visions into reality. Seeing the costumes when we did the photo session was a great start, along with the chorus starting to prepare their ‘moves’ in the set pieces. Actually one of the most exciting moments was the meeting we recently had with Mike Barwick (scenery designer), as he showed us the basic designs for the scenes. This will be an imaginative use of the limited Playhouse space, and allows us to give the show a more fluid feel. Less is more! And the rehearsals continue to progress… and let’s face it… they need to… We don’t have long now!"
