Cold Feet Control - Tales Of The Brokenhearted Part 2 EP

Well, earlier this year I reviewed the first of these two EP’s by Finnish Metalcore act Cold Feet Control, and asked the question when were they going to get their act together and actually record an album? That question still holds true, as this their third EP shows a heck of a lot of promise for a band that only came together in 2011. Yet again there is just five songs here to listen to, and I want to hear what they can do when they have more time to play. While they have the different vocal styles that one would expect, plus a good use of keyboards, they mix the pop with genuinely heavy riffs and it is the mix and control of this mix that really makes them stand out. Early Killswitch Engage mixed with the likes of We Came As Romans and some interesting Eighties keyboard sounds and here is a band that has a great deal going for them.
