I think one of the best quotes I’ve seen regarding this band is from Impericon, who said “If Suicide Silence, Whitechapel and Chelsea Grin were to have a child, it would be named Walking Dead On Broadway”. Now I must confess that I don’t know Chelsea Grin, but I am a big fan of Whitechapel (both on album and live – was lucky enough to see them support Trivium), although not so much of Suicide Silence, but I can see where they’re coming from. This is Germanic deathcore that is tight, powerful, and with a brutal edge – just listening to this makes my neck sore, as I can imagine what would be happening in the pit when they’re playing. This is intense, tight, heavy and all that one could want from music of this type.
If deathcore is your thing, then this German act is something you need to investigate at once, if not sooner. ‘Nuff said.
