I must confess, when I saw the name of the band and the artwork I had to listen to it straight away, and I wasn’t disappointed. If ever a band was attempting to invoke the feeling of the early New York thrash scene and combining it with the sounds that was coming out of Nottingham, the home of Earache Records, and invoking the late Eighties, then Pissed Regardless are doing just that. Having just signed a new deal, they have celebrated with a 7” containing five songs, with a total length of a fraction over ten minutes. This is thrash metal back as it used to be, bringing in elements of death and grind with punk and hardcore. Just like the old days.
