I guess someone thought that the band name would be amusing, but possibly that’s because these guys are Polish and English isn’t their first language. This is the second album by the quartet, although in many ways this is a project of singer Tomasz ‘Titus’ Pukacki (Acid Drinkers among others) and guitarist Igor ‘Iggy’ Gwadera. Keep a note of that name guys, this is their second album and he is still only fifteen, although one wouldn’t know it from his playing (although one might guess from his picture on the cover). He is an incredible guitarist, and that is definitely one of the highlights of the album, along with the vocals, which are rough and raw but somehow fit the music perfectly. It’s just a shame that the rest doesn’t really match up.
This is a very basic metal album with loads of nods to both NWOBHM and Motörhead, with the odd hint of Judas Priest, but with little or none of the finesse and songwriting that is required to back up the powerful approach. The production is good, the playing more than adequate, but this is way too basic for my taste.
