Eoront - Another Realm

Eoront is an atmospheric Black Metal project based in Krasnoyarsk, Siberia. Formed in 2012 by singer, guitarist and composer Foltath, the band signed a multi-album deal with code666 in 2015. The line-up is completed by Eugene (bass), Valea (keyboards) and Ephemiral Gorth (drums). Opting for a wide-screen cinematic style, Foltath conjures epics that show they have been playing close attention to Drudkh and, acts like Winterfylleth and, particularly, Fen. There are certainly a lot of positives with this album, and they combine powerful drumming and strong riffs with a good use of keyboards and vocals. The band themselves cite their influences as Forteresse, Ephemer, Brume d’Automne. Aeternus, Belenos, Fyrnask, Wolves In The Throne Room, Summoning and Abigor. For anyone interested in any of those bands, or in the atmospheric Black Metal genre, then this is worth seeking out.
